What personal data we collect and why we collect it

  • We do not use first-party cookies
  • Third party-cookies are used only when you click on embedded content from other websites (videos, webinar, Tweet or choose to click on the “follow us on Twitter buttons”). The embedded content behaves in the exact same way as if you had visited the other (third party) website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
  • We do not use third-party tracking tools
  • Page views and website flows are tracked anonymously using first-party tools
  • We use MailChimp as our newsletter automation platform. By signing up for our newsletter, you acknowledge that the information you provide (email, first and last name) will be transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms
  • We do not track whether you opened our emails or clicked any links therein

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data, besides using MailChimp as our newsletter automation platform.

How long we retain your data

We keep your email, first and last name as long as your are signed up to our mailing list.

What rights you have over your data

We delete all your data once you unsubscribe from our mailing list.

How we protect your data

For operating our mailing list we use two factor authentication to ensure that only Local2Global staff can access the data.

What data breach procedures we have in place

We have internal organizational and technical precautions in place to safe guard your information against being destroyed, lost, changes or past on to unauthorized third parties accidentally – or by criminal intent.
