Learning from survivor and community-led crisis responses in the Philippines

The report is based on research conducted with 36 self-help groups in 2019-2020, as well as interviews with the implementing organisation, ECOWEB. 2018This learning brief presents key lessons from ECOWEB and L2GP’s ongoing experience with survivor and community led crisis response in the Philippines. The paper is the first in a series of papers presenting key findings and learning from pilot projects undertaken in collaboration between a number of local, national and international humanitarian actors and L2GP. All these initiatives are undertaken with the explicit purpose to develop and refine approaches and methods to support local agency.
