Listed below are the training/co-design resources, which has so far evolved after piloting and practising this survivor and community-led crisis response (sclr) in among other the Philippines, Palestine, Kenya, Sudan and Myanmar.
The resources will primarily be of direct relevance and use to individuals who have been part of a sclr co-design/training workshop – or a “Training of Trainers” in the sclr approaches. If you are new to this way of working, you can get a first sense of what it is all about but we cannot recommend that try using them directly without any prior introduction or training. All the resources available below are in the form of editable Word or PPT documents. That is on purpose as the resources are presented here in a generic form, which will require any trainer to amend and adapt them to any specific context and occasion.
The sclr workshops conducted up to now has been structured as intensive 5 – 6 day co-design/training events. However a better way may be to break this up and allow the modules to be facilitated more gradually over several weeks and/or to encourage initial piloting after modules 1-4 have been completed before introducing modules 5 -8 some months later. Below the relevant resources are thus accessible in a “day-by-day” structure – plus a pre-training introduction and recommended reading. Presentations, facilitation notes, exercises, and case studies relevant to the individual workshop day are all accessible here.
